I 100% agree and have mentioned this before. Really not a fan.I don't know if the airport is paying some cheap agency to do their social media (Instagram etc) but it's so cringey... It's like a school project.
Ey Up!I 100% agree and have mentioned this before. Really not a fan.
Again look at LPL airport today posting about an intersting LOT movement for a football gaging interactions and interest. Why can’t LBA post one? Iberia from VLC perfect example. That will gain more interest then how many towels you can fit in a parking spot..I don't know if the airport is paying some cheap agency to do their social media (Instagram etc) but it's so cringey... They did say they were going to do something but I doubt it would be anything that causes people to congregate around a display causing a blockage, especially given how restrictive the airport is in the first place. They were going to get the architect to do a fly through video - which could perhaps be shown in screens in the terminal where they could be viewed whilst waiting. If I get a chance I'll ask at the next meeting in September.I forgot to mention that I didn't see anything around the terminal showing the airport's plans which is really disappointing. IThe airports should be shouting from the rooftops about the improved terminal on its way. Instead passengers are greated with a tired warn out terminal.
Theres a very long billboard on the hoardings for the extension. On your left as you walk up from the car parks- lots of images and info. Tried to post an image without success. They did say they were going to do something but I doubt it would be anything that causes people to congregate around a display causing a blockage, especially given how restrictive the airport is in the first place. Hate the whole Ey Up nonsense.…whoever came up with it needs sacking!LBA have just posted this on social media.
Yorkshire vocabulary as i call it! "ey up" "by eck" etc etc traditional i agree but for me it brings up images of flat cap farmers, tractorville, old mills, dry stone walls and the like, basically a very old fashioned backwards county, Something a bit similar to what we see in the hale and pace Yorkshire airways comedy sketch.Hate the whole Ey Up nonsense.…whoever came up with it needs sacking!
Next we’ll have a guy with a flat cap and a whippet at customs…Yorkshire vocabulary as i call it! The yorkshire of today is very much different to the yorkshire of the past esp the leeds region which of course is one of the top cities of the uk in terms of wealth, finance and general importance. So In my opinion the LBA branding simply does not match up with the Yorkshire we live in today.
The airport obviously think it will appeal to their typical customer. I assume that must be leisure travellers from the Yorkshire region. I dont see how it will have relevance to anyone from outside the county and struggle to identify any synergies with business travellers.Yorkshire vocabulary as i call it!
