As I say, I am cautiously optimistic about the future of AA (short term). If the 787 goes well, ORD could grow, and I'm assuming the 787 will have less tech and availability issues this time round, I feel they may fill in the gap and make it year round. It would be a real positive step to see this happen.Fear not Aceshigh & Ethan. It's not bad news
Firstly, all 3 AA flights seem to be operating, so that's a good start.
Secondly , loads. From the seat plans, so hopefully a very good guide for today's departures from MAN.
ORD - 90% full.
JFK - 95%
PHL - 97%
And J class approx. 75-80% on the 3 flights but we don't know the fares, upgrades etc.
Before we get too carried away though, one would expect flights to be very busy at this time of year. Indeed, some years ago, AA would carry these sort of loads over a longer period, and not just in the summer necessarily.

I'd guess they'd send the passengers via LHR.Not surprised, but at about 07.15 it was showing expected arrival 10.55. Est. departure 12.00.
In theory it should have been nearly half way over the Ocean at that time, so either the MAN web site was not up to-date or possibly the a/c turned back. The AA web site was still showing the departure but the seat map not available.
Anyway, just the normal AA performance.
Wonder how they dealt with the pax in both directions given it's another very busy weekend.
They must have had some good tail winds!Philadelphia departed around 50mins behind schedule but arrived on schedule I believe.
JFK departed around 45mins behind schedule but arrived on schedule.
Chicago pretty much on schedule, departing 25mins after scheduled departure time, arriving 30mins early.
Can we top today's performance tomorrow?!
