After the B733s go and with the B757s gone, is there a chance of a stand reconfiguration to make some stands narrower (ie. 8, 9, 11, 14, 15) and therefore widen stands 16, 17 and 18 to at least make them all B738 capable, or is this not possible?
8-15 couldn't really be changed due to the recently installed fixed ground power. Would mean ripping up and moving the units. Might be a long-term task when the units get replaced/updated

Something’s gone badly wrong this morning, nearly everything is delayed significantly. Fire alarm? We can’t be snow-closed surely
There is currently moderate snow in Guiseley and it is starting to settle so it is possibly accumulating on the runway a couple of hundred feet higher.

Apparently there are some aircraft that won’t depart until the visibility improves. That’s a new one on me but I assume it’s linked to the runway contamination.

And seems to be specific to Jet2 as Ryanair, Aer Lingus departing - albeit with de-icing delays.

And here is the biggy - I think. Negotiations with LCC remain ongoing re the night flying quota. LCC have suggested to LBA to submit a revised CLEUD, which will be done in the next couple of weeks. This is apparently because the outcome of that CLEUD will affect the wording of the full Section 73 application which is initially written with the hope of submitting it later this year. It sounds like LBA and LCC are having positive discussions.
Press statement today confirming that this CLUED has been submitted

I think the key here though is that LCC have apparently encouraged LBA to submit this revised CLEUD. The outcome of which then would determine the specifics of any Section 73 application. I do actually think LCC are ready to find the sensible compromise with this

Not a right lot's gonna change surely? Tbf I don't know the politics of Leeds very well, are we expecting a large swing towards the Greens in some areas?
People will vote for whoever they like but I think anything other than Green will be the best option for the airport and any of the right leaning parties if they want less focus on co2 and net zero.

Is there still a group with support for LBA? On Facebook etc?
The LBASG Facebook account is still very much up and running and managed by @lbaspotter
