They tend to have seats on their flights sold by Thomas Cook holidays so this will potentially give package holiday customers in Liverpool some extra choice.

Birds of a feather flock together, however, SunExpresss seems to be catching the other operators off guard! As many airlines seem to be flocking to the larger airports, they appear to be letting this relatively small operation take hold in quite a big way at the smaller regional airports. It will be interesting to watch how this airline develops over the coming years with its emphasis on regional departure points.

But they are also major players at e.g. LGW and MAN. It also appears that TUI are increasingly using Sun Express for their flights. It explains the increased regional presence. The Turkish market is becoming turbulent.

From what I've heard elsewhere the first flight out from Liverpool was.sold out.

Just heard of a passenger who has just flown out to Turkey yesterday on Sun Express and reported flight around 90% full. Pretty good start for a new airline to Liverpool.
