FR24 is showing Airbus A300 Beluga (F-GSTD, BGA161D) to be due to depart BHX for TLS at 14:20.

Not entirely sure about work at EMA, but quite likely. I heard the StarAir depart to Belfast.

All other flights to EMA seem to have operated normally, but I saw that the Star Air B767 was shown on FR24 to be operating to BHX several hours before arrival. I didn't post at that time, in case it was an FR24 error.

I saw one on FR24 flying circles over East Anglia (which I posted in the 'Avgeek' section). When I looked, I was quire surprised to see it was an RAF one, as I believed they had been retired.

I was working just off the Chester Road and I actually heard it before I saw it! Flew right overhead - a great sight.

virgin operating from Brum It ain’t going to happen!
They have had many opportunities in the past including linking directly onto virgin rail from the only airport with direct access to main line,
sir Richard many years ago said if BA ever stopped flying to New York they would step in …. But obviously they didn’t !
they are very happy for us all to travel 100 miles north or south

They've always said never. Change of management maybe, but that was always the case.

Any Aer Lingus A330's planned for next week at all? (Cheltenham)

Ryanair have pretty much cornered that market in recent years although Aer Lingus do add capacity so not much chance of an A330 but we can always hope.

Just had a quick look on the bhxmovementsblog and showing three extra Ryanair Cheltenham flights eights in total and one extra Aer Lingus A320 three flights in total.

So eleven Dublin rotations tomorrow no doubt will increase nearer Gold Cup day later in the week.

Not as good as when the Aer Lingus B747 used to operate them.

It seems many years ago now that Aer Lingus used B747 or A332 for Cheltenham. Those were the days!. Ryanair have definitely cornered the market in recent years.
