Not three in a row i'm sure. I remember the G7 summit quite well. The European Cup Winners final was a broad mix of heavies and smaller charter aircraft.

It was definitely the 'G8 Summit'. It took place in 1998 and was promoted as '19g8'. Russia had been added to the G7 to become the G8 in 1997, but were suspended in 2014 following the annexation of Crimea. The title of the summits reverted to the G7.I remember the G7 summit quite well.

Does anyone know how often it is coming in? I’d love to see it.
National 747 has just departed Baku 13-35FR24 is giving an ETA of 17:53 for the National B747. I can't see a departure time.
Kevin
Strange, I've had no problem finding it listed on FR24 BHX arrivals. I can't however find a departure from BHX for it on FR24.National B744F due BHX 19.10 but not showing on BHX arrivals on FR24?.
Back on the good old days there used to be a morning (possibly two) in the summer when the first three scheduled arrivals were all 787s - 1 Qatar and 2 TUI.
Could also have happened the summer Emirates ran the morning flight and we got the Hainan charters.
I think we have to look at the definition of 'heavy'. I know a lot of people who think it applies to widebodies, but this is not necessarily the case. 'Heavy' relates to the strength and persistence of the wake vortex behind the aircraft and is appended to the callsign. This decides the separation between the 'heavy' and any following aircraft. I've read that the B757 could be listed as a 'heavy', but not sure it ever was.I'm sure that in the past I've been at BHX photographing early morning QR, TUi and EK arrivals, although three wide bodies in a row may have been disrupted by a United 757.
This is what I saw on FR24, viewed on a PC via Firefox (National B747 showing on the BHX FR24 arrivals list) -Very odd Kevin. Likewise nothing showing for it's departure so far.
As most of you will know my memory is not the greatest but I'm sure that in the past I've been at BHX photographing early morning QR, TUi and EK arrivals, although three wide bodies in a row may have been disrupted by a United 757.
Those were the days eh![]()
