Not three in a row i'm sure. I remember the G7 summit quite well. The European Cup Winners final was a broad mix of heavies and smaller charter aircraft.

Does anyone know how often it is coming in? I’d love to see it.

Back on the good old days there used to be a morning (possibly two) in the summer when the first three scheduled arrivals were all 787s - 1 Qatar and 2 TUI.

Could also have happened the summer Emirates ran the morning flight and we got the Hainan charters.

As most of you will know my memory is not the greatest but I'm sure that in the past I've been at BHX photographing early morning QR, TUi and EK arrivals, although three wide bodies in a row may have been disrupted by a United 757.

Those were the days eh :(

I think we have to look at the definition of 'heavy'. I know a lot of people who think it applies to widebodies, but this is not necessarily the case. 'Heavy' relates to the strength and persistence of the wake vortex behind the aircraft and is appended to the callsign. This decides the separation between the 'heavy' and any following aircraft. I've read that the B757 could be listed as a 'heavy', but not sure it ever was.
The next category up, is 'super', which applies to the A380. Are there any other aircraft that fall into this category? Possibly the C-5 Galaxy, or the An-225 Mriya?

Interesting Kevin. It actually touched down at 19.00 but never showed on my FR24 arrivals. However it showed immediately on my Landed list after arrival. Thanks for the departure info.

Interesting to note that FR24 is showing the Air Tanker A330 (G-VYGK, AWC223Y) as 'unknown'. I watched it on FR24 depart BZZ and arrive at BHX using R15. The callsign however was ZAP223Y (I believe both 'AWC' and 'ZAP' are assigned to Titian Airways). Is this why FR24 hasn't recorded it on BHX arrivals?
FR24 has been showing some strange listings recently, including multiple arrivals of the same flight.
For tomorrow, FR24is showing Air Tanker A330 G-VYGK (yes, the same aircraft) arriving from LGW at 15:31 using the callsign AWC23W. However, I can't find any listing of it departing BHX after it's arrival yesterday.
I'm not saying that FR24 is at fault, as I don't know how they gather their information but I suspect it's from filed flight plans. Hopefully, they can get more accurate data soon and I wait to see if the A330 arrives from LGW, whatever the callsign.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
