Could bhx do better from the Greek market with Ryanair?
This summer we have
6 weekly Rhodes
1 weekly Chania
3 weekly Corfu

Ryanair to announce more plans from Croatia for summer 2026.all will be revealed Wednesday

on a side note has Ryanair completed its schedule from bhx.Still has a huge gap on Friday’s lunchtime and Sunday night for summer
This is primarily a matter of limitations and efficiency. Flying to smaller airports requires a choice between passengers and baggage or refuelling at another airport, typically Bergamo. However, their close flight schedules make this process particularly challenging and results in crew working out of hours. In recent years they have also been struggling at Corfu due to the heat.

For Croatia, I would expect one additional flight to Zadar and possibly two weekly Dubrovnik.

Is there still more to do with the bhx schedule I guess before completion?

Update 5/4/2026

Few changes still need to be made for Ryanair

  • Monday needs an adjustment to the (B738-PMI-9.20-15.00-SOF-16.30-23.25)schedule Sofia flight time needs to adjusted.
  • Wednesday schedule needs to adjusted to with (B738-MAD-8.20-13.55-NOC-15.25-18.25-PMI-19.05-00.45)Knock needs time adjustments
  • Thursday needs an adjustment to especially (B38M-LCJ-5.55-11.05-RHO-13.45-23.25)Rhodes flight needs adjustment via the time
  • Friday needs to see a quite a few Adjustments to the timetable. (B38M-NOC-7.10-10.05-RMU-10.30-16.30-ZAD-17.55-23.30)Zadar time needs sorted,(B738-ALC-7.15-13.05-AGP-16.15-22.40) needs adjusting to with the Malaga flight given 3 hours spare which is unusual for Ryanair .
  • Saturday needs adjustments to especially the(B738-KRK-8.00-13.30-RHO-15.45-1.05) over 2hrs difference for the Rhodes flight. Also (B738-BCN-8.45-14.10-TSF-16.15-21.05) needs adjustments to the TSF flights
This might be confusing but I’ll post the timetable in the flight timetables thread shortly

Just been looking at the RYR BHX Summer'26 Schedule and noticed RYR have been adding flights again...

Routes with an extra weekly flight added:
- BVA (Now 8x weekly)
- SVQ (Now 5x weekly)
- LIS (Now 3x weekly)

Routes with a weekly flight cut:
- SOF (Now 2x weekly)

During summer peak season, RYR will now offer 257x weekly departures, 514x weekly ATMs and nearly 100,000x weekly seats!

Hi Neil.How are you?

Haven’t seen in a while

Up the Ryanair.Still think there’s more chop and change

Will already be by far their largest ever summer schedule from BHX. Suspect no more new routes at this late stage, and more increases in capacity potentially... but you never know!

I’m happy how it is and if there’s more then I’m rubbing my hands.Winter 2026 should be released the next few weeks.Hoping to get down to BHX 33 this summer

Interesting observation ( possibly).
The early flight from Dublin took 34 minutes!. Dep. DUB 06.09 and landed BHX 06.43. St Patrick's Day too!.

Wow!. Guinness in the tanks no doubt!.
From a crew perspective it’s a nightmare because they expect you to do full bar service, duty free service, scratch cards in around 15 minutes…. But it’s actually makes more money on the buy on board sales then a flight to Poland I’ve done flights where the whole crew made over thousand euros one way 😅

I’ve always wondered why they’ve been so keen on Dublin, with it being about 1/6 of the LBA schedule. I guess I’ve now learned why 😀

Looks like a cut and paste of S26 so far
The expected based units for next year is limited to nine aircraft until the arrival of the 737-10. These will be based at Stansted, Dublin and Milan/BGY which will free up the 8200’s for Ryanair’s commencement of the phase-out of the older 737-800 fleet. So I wouldn’t get too excited maybe a few away flights

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
LBA: B737-300 G-GDFK empty down to Paris at 16:15 to operate the return LS268 back to Leeds 20:00 ETA where it will then operate the delayed LS265 to Malaga 20:40ETD
LBA: Albastar B737-800 EC-MUB positioning in tommorow afternoon from Gatwick 15:45 to operate a charter to Lourdes/Tarbes on Friday afternoon 14:00 AP7721 STC
I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
