The expected based units for next year is limited to nine aircraft until the arrival of the 737-10. These will be based at Stansted, Dublin and Milan/BGY which will free up the 8200’s for Ryanair’s commencement of the phase-out of the older 737-800 fleet. So I wouldn’t get too excited maybe a few away flights
I’m just thinking about what Ryanair could do to speed up expansion from Birmingham.in terms of their Chania route being 1 weekly and Fuerteventura,Gran Canaria and Lanzarote being 2 weekly.Surely these routes are big hitters

It's a tricky time for expansion while the war in the Middle East continues.
Tour operators are inundated with requests to re book Eastern Med holidays towards ' safer' western Med destinations. This has put pressure on finding accommodation in those countries. It's no good flying extra passengers out to places where they will struggle to find accommodation.

RYR to Copenhagen
Great they are expanding but unfortunately there is often a route loss or reduction shortly afterwards
I would have preferred a destination that is not served & we have plenty of those unfortunately !

In some respects yes, but it looks like a Copenhagen based aircraft, not the BHX based aircraft so there is no reason to suggest this route is coming a the costs of other routes/capacity out of BHX

Ryanair started loading its Xmas/New year flights
TFS,FUE,DUB,CPH and so on

Be disappointed just to see 1 new route.
Polish and a Scandinavian/Latvian route would be great

Is Copenhagen the only route.??

Pretty poor if it is.

I know taxes and Ryanair and climate are not nice these days but It would be nice to see more expansion in Eastern europe

UK-based cabin crew are expected to announce a strike shortly due to stalled negotiations on pay and conditions. A ballot for industrial action will be sent out shortly for Ryanair directly hired cabin crew such as pursers, ad hoc pursers and those cabin crew not working for cabin crew international.

Anyone know how Ryanair are doing.I believe that they have increased the check in hours to 3 hours because of security queues at peak times

Could they threaten to pull from bhx?

They have had a little rant about BHX being under staffed but as always they want full staffing but want to pay BHX as little a s possible. You pay for what you get !

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
