Up until yesterday, TUI had a B738 (G-FDZS) and B752 (G-OOBA) based at Bristol.
The B752 positioned out to BHX late last night and early this morning B738 (G-TAWW) positioned in from MAN.
This afternoon B738 (G-TAWI) is also due to position in from St Athan making it 3x B738s based.
B788 (G-TUIC) is also due in from LGW this morning to operate the afternoon DLM.

So was yesterday the last based day for the b757 ?
I seem to remember that last year the fourth based unit (excluding the part-based B788) did not commence operatons until towards the end of May. I suppose we shall have to wait to discover what it is.

I see the TUI245 from Cape Verde has picked up a legthy delay. The flight was due in at 02.40 but now due in at 16.35 on the BRS dep/arr board. I think it was a 737H but not sure, and don't know the cause of delay.

I see the TUI6424 to Thessalonika is delayed till 17.05 it was due out at 06.00 this morning,it must be the aircraft stuck down in Cape Verde. Looking at the dep boards and 2 TC and 3 TUI aircraft due to depart at 06.00 if they all depart at same time the terminal must be bursting at the seans what with the other aircraft departing there or there abouts.

I imagine it’ll be due to crew hours as it was heavily delayed going down to SID yesterday. It was a 738 G-TAWI. Currently on its way back. G-TAWM is also doing STN-HER-BRS.

Headwinds across the Atlantic today? The Cancun flight is going via EMA today.

That will be the first time for a month. It's gone non-stop for the past four weeks. It seems that EMA is the fuel stop this year. It's invariably been MAN in the past, going back to the days when B767s operated the route.

@Jerry you are indeed correct. No diversions unless of an emergency. Knowing you won't get out of BRS with the payload is not an emergency so over to EMA - a runway into win suitably long enough to get out.

The new flights from Bristol Airport to Enfidha and Reus give holidaymakers more choice and flexibility when booking next year’s summer holiday. The first TUI flight from Bristol to Enfidha departs on 4th May 2020 and operates once a week on a Monday. For Reus, the first additional flight takes-off on 26th May 2020 departing on a Tuesday, with the other flight on a Saturday.

As an important regional base for TUI, holidaymakers now have over 17,000 additional seats to choose from to over 35 destinations when booking their summer holiday from Bristol Airport. A Boeing 787 Dreamliner will be based at Bristol Airport throughout the summer offering the variety of short and long haul flights to customers from the South West.

A holiday to Tunisia promises sandy beaches and bazaars overflowing with spices and a stunning coastline. The 4T+ TUI SENISMAR Scheherazade is an adults-only resorts offering first-class dining and pure relaxation. Alternatively, the 5Sun Holiday Village Manar is great for those looking for a family trip, offering kids’ and teens’ clubs, daytime activities and West End standard shows.

Spain continues to be an extremely popular holiday choice and this is reflected in the great choice on offer in the summer 2020 programme. Customers can choose from the 4T TUI FAMILY LIFE Avenida Suites and the 4T Estival Centurion Playa. TUI FAMILY LIFE resorts offer fun for all ages and are the perfect family destination. The 4T Estival Centurion Playa is part of the TUI PLATINUM concept which offers high-quality hotels providing something for all couples.

TUI UK&I’s Director of Aviation Planning Karen Switzer said: “We are very excited to launch our summer 2020 holiday programme. We are concentrating on providing more availability to our great range of holidays by expanding our regional flying programme.

“The new route to Enfidha and the additional flight to Reus from Bristol provides holidaymakers with more opportunity including the flexibility of different durations to experience our wide range of hotel concepts and destinations.”

Nigel Scott, Business Development Director at Bristol Airport, said: “We are delighted that our summer 2020 holidays are now on sale with a new route to Enfidha and an extra flight to Reus for summer 2020. We recognise TUI’s continued commitment to Bristol with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner being based here throughout summer 2020 providing daily flights to a mix of short and long haul destinations including Orlando, Cancun, Majorca and Turkey.”

TUI and First Choice have thousands of free kids’ places across their holidays and deposits are £50pp for short and mid haul and £125pp for long haul.

TUI launched its summer 2020 programme five months earlier than usual last November as a response to consumer behaviour. With more customers, especially families, wanting to book earlier, holidaymakers have the opportunity to secure their favourite hotels or preferred flight options from Bristol Airport.

TUI offers seven night holidays to Tunisia staying at the 5T TUI SENSIMAR Oceana Resort and Spa on a half board basis from £745 per person when booked online. Price is based on two adults sharing and includes flights departing from Bristol Airport on the 6h July 2020 and transfers. To find out more about this holiday or to book go to TUI.co.uk, visit your local TUI holiday store or download our app. TUI now also offer a Direct Debit payments option for some holidays – find out more here.

Perhaps they will use the 757 on Cape Verdi as can do it with ease. Anyone know how the 737 doing on the route as was mentioned would have to do a fuel stop.

Short haul aircraft no4 arrives this Thursday and according to FR24(only source since no maydays) it’s gonna be a b757.
If we assume that FR24 is correct I think this Thursday will be the first time ever that five TUI short-haul flights have occurred in the first batch of departures, viz:

0600 Thessaloniki B737-800
0600 Ibiza B737-800
0600 Dubrovnik B787-8
0720 Kefalonia B757-200
0730 Corfu B737-800

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
