Up until yesterday, TUI had a B738 (G-FDZS) and B752 (G-OOBA) based at Bristol.
The B752 positioned out to BHX late last night and early this morning B738 (G-TAWW) positioned in from MAN.
This afternoon B738 (G-TAWI) is also due to position in from St Athan making it 3x B738s based.
B788 (G-TUIC) is also due in from LGW this morning to operate the afternoon DLM.

I seem to remember that last year the fourth based unit (excluding the part-based B788) did not commence operatons until towards the end of May. I suppose we shall have to wait to discover what it is.

I see the TUI245 from Cape Verde has picked up a legthy delay. The flight was due in at 02.40 but now due in at 16.35 on the BRS dep/arr board. I think it was a 737H but not sure,and don't know the cause of delay.

Looking at the dep boards and 2 TC and 3 TUI aircraft due to depart at 06.00 if they all depart at same time the terminal must be bursting at the seans what with the other aircraft departing there or there abouts.

I imagine it’ll be due to crew hours as it was heavily delayed going down to SID yesterday. It was a 738 G-TAWI. Currently on its way back. G-TAWM is also doing STN-HER-BRS.

That will be the first time for a month. It's gone non-stop for the past four weeks. It seems that EMA is the fuel stop this year. It's invariably been MAN in the past, going back to the days when B767s operated the route.

Doesn't MAN have a restriction on diversions at the moment? So they may have decided to send them to EMA instead another MAG airport.

@Jerry you are indeed correct. No diversions unless of an emergency. Knowing you won't get out of BRS with the payload is not an emergency so over to EMA - a runway into win suitably long enough to get out.

TUI UK launches new flights for Summer 2020 from Bristol Airport

TUI UK, the UK’s largest holiday company, has announced a new destination to Enfidha (Tunisia) and one additional flight to Reus (Spain), for its summer 2020 programme from Bristol Airport.

The new flights from Bristol Airport to Enfidha and Reus give holidaymakers more choice and flexibility when booking next year’s summer holiday. The first TUI flight from Bristol to Enfidha departs on 4th May 2020 and operates once a week on a Monday. For Reus, the first additional flight takes-off on 26th May 2020 departing on a Tuesday, with the other flight on a Saturday.

As an important regional base for TUI, holidaymakers now have over 17,000 additional seats to choose from to over 35 destinations when booking their summer holiday from Bristol Airport. A Boeing 787 Dreamliner will be based at Bristol Airport throughout the summer offering the variety of short and long haul flights to customers from the South West.

Short haul aircraft no4 arrives this Thursday and according to FR24(only source since no maydays) it’s gonna be a b757.

Perhaps they will use the 757 on Cape Verdi as can do it with ease. Anyone know how the 737 doing on the route as was mentioned would have to do a fuel stop.

If we assume that FR24 is correct I think this Thursday will be the first time ever that five TUI short-haul flights have occurred in the first batch of departures, viz:
