While it’s always good news for when BHX attracts a new airline, I have to say this airline is one we can easily do without. I don’t see it being popular with many passengers and it doesn’t seem like they will last long either.

If we ever do get TATL back I would put my money on it being flown with an A321neo. Sadly United don't have any on order at the moment although American and Delta each have 100 on order.
It's believed that the 797 will most likely be a wide bodied aircraft probably similar to the 767 300 and 400.The replacement for TATL 757's for all three airlines will likely be the Boeing NMA which we may see some news on in the next year or two.

I think the airlines may have other ideas especially the American ones. I think they see the 797 as a good replacement for the 767.Wide body passenger deck, narrow body cargo deck
The 787 was designed to replace the 767, and the 797/NMA is suggested to fit the gap between 787 and 737 I believe.
Boeing believes there's a large enough gap in the market for an entirely new aircraft. Airbus seem to be happy with stretching the A321NEO I think...

Interestingly with the exception of the 2 London airport's it seems that Ryanair's focus for expansion has been in the South West of the UK with Cardiff, Exeter and Bournemouth and the North West with Liverpool and Manchester. And the day that I do see BHX on that list, I will probably choke on my crisps but hopefully it wont be fatal.![]()
