Welsh government Must be in the pay of Bristol Airport

There are environmental concerns in an ancient woodland and the locals are against it and the reality is that with an election coming up Labour aren't going to push anything controversial in a marginal seat. It's also noticeable that the Conservatives never mention it and they are obsessed with roads!
With the enterprise zone at St Athan growing better access to the M4 will be needed eventually.

If that was the result how would it work out in terms of the administration? I believe that Labour holds power with the help of a Lib-Dem and an Independent. If Labour loses ten seats to finish with 19 what sort of coalition is likely?

I'd expect some sort of coalition or agreement with Plaid Cymru.
With Labour on 22 and Plaid 14 that would give any government a majority at 36 seats though not a super majority for any constitutional changes like expansion of the Senedd and changing the voting system which Plaid is keen on.
Other predictions see the result potentially as
Labour 24 seats
Conservatives 18
Plaid 16
Lib Dems 1
AWA 1
It's possible that Labour will be the largest party but not be big enough to form a government with the Lib Dems this time.

Six Nations 2021

Many congratulations to Wales on winning this year's Six Nations. I believe it's wholly merited. They were the best side in the competition.

The coach, his staff and the entire playing squad deserve high praise for a tremendous turnaround after a disappointing run prior to the competition.

Not surprisingly expansion of the Senedd has come up as an election issue with the Conservatives saying no more politician's. The recommendation is that the Senedd expand to between 80 and 90 members. In the article below it's not that there are only just over 40 MS to do committee work that scrutinises the government and Cardiff airport and over £16 billion a year of budget.

I don't why but some people can't seem to accept that Wales is a bilingual country and think English is enough. I personally doubt he'd say this about French on flights to Canada especially to Quebec.

Are cabin announcements to and from CWL across all airlines made in Welsh as well as English?

When I've flown into/out of Scotland the announcements on the airlines I've used have only been in English. I believe that Scottish Gaelic is an official language of Scotland alongside English, with Scots also a recognised language.

Whilst not expecting all cabin staff and pilots to be proficient in Welsh or Gaelic as the case might be, there is no reason why pre-recorded announcements could not be made in those languages dealing with the main eventualities. I wonder if there are people in Wales who can only speak and understand Welsh but not English, with the same question about Scotland and Gaelic.

English is the recognised language of aviation, going back to the Chicago Convention of 1944. Imagine having to learn to fly a jet liner which is hard enough, than having to have some knowledge of a foreign language to be able to do so, ditto air traffic controllers with their demanding job.

Not on flights I've been on with the exception of a flight from Paris with Flybe when one of the crew welcomed people to Wales.
I personally wonder if it's more a requirement by the covid19 laws specifically. Though would be nice if airline's used it more.

The language is more traditionally stronger in the former Principality areas in the west and north west but there are quite a lot Welsh speakers in other areas but it's general day to day use is less and for some of us it's still a learning process!
I do think the growth of Welsh medium education in areas like Cardiff is helping and I wouldn't be surprised if eventually that's the standard education for all children in Wales.

With the may fligts i have taken to the States i have never heard a double announcement. The only double announcement i have heard is on a KLM flight at start of flight in Dutch.The rest of the flight was all in english.

I’m seriously considering voting Abolish the Welsh assembly party, not because i want the welsh assembly abolished, but in protest at the waste and continued incompetence that’s going on from the assembly currently.

(As the conversation has become more about politics than the airport i've moved it here.)
Obviously your vote is your own choice but the reality is that the WG isn't going to sell the airport and will keep investing in the airport because they believe that it is part of the national transport infrastructure. We all want the airport to do well and for that it needs investment. You can say it's a waste of taxpayers money but governments have wasted a lot more than that over the years and voting for AWAP isn't a protest vote against the Welsh government and it's ownership, it's a vote against the Senedd existence, would you vote to abolish Westminster because of Johnson's bad government i sincerely doubt it. The irony is that if you want the WG to get more scrutiny over things like Cardiff airport you should be looking to vote for a party that wants to increase the amount of MS in the chamber so the Senedd can do a better job of holding the government to account because at the moment there are only 40 MS who can do the job of scrutinising the WG and a larger chamber means more expertise coming into it.
Going back to the topic of the airport, it has a new start with a new big airline on board and new management in charge so people really need to give it time to recover from the covid pandemic.
