It just worked for me Mode1 on my work PC so I guess it must be your (not as smart as it thinks!) phone! :)

Can you not just access the Gallery from the Board Index?

No the problem is at our end. The gallery doesn't work using the mobile site and hasn't since it was installed. I am looking at getting it sorted but this depends on whether we keep the mobile version of the website.

i`ve been on the mobile site briefly, and its pretty cool aviador.

ipad app would be cool too ;)

I've rated both your pictures as 10/10 they're superb and probably the best I've seen on Forums4airports so far! :hatsoff:

Has that bench been put back channex757? I used to stand on its concrete frame to get over-the-fence shots, but last time I went to the tunnel the bench was gone and a new, much higher, fence was in the process of being erected. Even if the bench is back I'd assume shots over the new fence would be impossible. Which would be a shame.

Not sure if there's anywhere similar to the cemetry on the 32 end Geoff, but there's plane tree hill and the land just before 32, where the lights are.

Thanks for the reply.

And no the bench is not back but thre is a big concrete block there but this is no use as the new high fence is still in they way which is irritating.

I think the closest thing at the 32 end is if you go down to the pan and take pictures from there. But again there is a fence there so you have to try and get a picture through the small holes on the fence.

After departure, the Alitalia a320 didn't retract the landing gear. It hadn't been retracted before it made the usual left turn and it was down till it went out of sight. I don't know why it was left down.

Someone had a pic with it on the other day I think. It only had 1 small section built though, looks like they've extended it quite abit there.

Great pictures channex 757. That's the first Alitalia I've ever seen at LBA. When are they next scheduled to come it. I need a pickie!!

Thanks.

I aren't sure when it's next due in but it was good to see at LBA.

But it was a strange departure today by the Alitalia because i didn't see it retract the landing gear and by the time it was out of sight, it had done the usual left hand turn and must of been airborne for a minute or two.

Does anyone know why?

If their procedures are like ours on the A300 if you have a brake disconnected or an anti skid system inoperative we leave the gear down for 2 minutes to let the wheels stop turning after take off as the automatic gear braking on retraction is not working. But it may just have been the pilot in command was slow to ask for the gear up.

Here's some snaps from this afternoon...

Enjoy!!!

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
