I agree but usually Sat Navs will find a better way. An example from Harrogate will be via Harlow Carr then Otley.

From my days at the airport, from memory, most people who would get drunk would be people on delayed flights. Maybe the bar should be asking passengers which flight they're on and refusing sale to those on delayed flights?

We looked at that and decided it was too expensive although we heard the driver of the Airport Express saying people who had a ticket for the hop on hop off service were also accepted onto the Airport Express coach. It might have made it doable had we known that beforehand.

The only tip I can offer is the north runway seems to be used primarily for departures, the south for arrivals. I didn't do any spotting as I was with the family so I can't recommend any spotting locations but I am sure you will have an enjoyable day nonetheless.
