I think it's just some change of days, not all extra dates. The only extra date is 26th March.

Alicante
Flight removed Wed 29th April
Flight removed Wed 20th May
Flight removed Sat 30th May
Malaga
Flight removed Tues 5th and Tues 26th May

Atm from 19/6/26-16/9/26 Alicante is 2 weekly with no Saturday flight.
Malaga is from the 14/6/26-16/9/26 is 1 weekly with flights only on a Sunday.
Good news that they're staying but it's not 3 weekly all the way through. Hopefully they'll add flights at a later date.
So Alicante will be 2 weekly in April and now 3 weekly all the way through to November though the days do differ.
Malaga will be 3 weekly except between the 16/6/26-13/9/26 where it will be 2 weekly.
So Vueling will operate 5 weekly departures all through summer.

Alicante is onsale November to January
Forever a work in progress is the VY schedule isn’t it 👏 I see they have added all of January since my post earlier today. As well as an extra AGP on 5 January.

November I know has been on sale for a while now, which bodes well for forward bookings…

Well Ryanair operating Alicante doesn't seem to have put them off. Just wish they'd operate Malaga all winter even if it was just 1 weekly in some months.

Hopefully with enough early bookings for December they may add some November dates.

It’s been a few years since they last ran a proper Malaga winter schedule so demand might be back.

I shall be flying from CWL tomorrow courtesy of VYs additional half-term Wednesday morning rotation to ALC ✈️

Currently to be operated by EC-OGE (A320)
Have a great flight!

Winter (December) 2026

- AGP on sale 2 x weekly (+ 2 Jan) Tu,Sa
- ALC on sale 3 x weekly (+ 2 Jan) Mo,Tu,Sa
It seems AGP has been removed from the festive December / January schedule 🤔

Interesting. Not Vueling of course but curiously there is a strange gap in Ryanair's booking engine for ALC during the Christmas and New Year weeks, otherwise flights are available right through until late March. Strange coincidence?

Flights are onsale in the app.

Who knows with Vueling. Probably put the flights onsale in October lol

Strange. Two weeks' worth of flights were not there yesterday or the day before. They're back now.
I noticed late last week there were gaps with ALC, TFS and DUB. A quirk in their booking engine I’d imagine.

As for Vueling they could just be changing the dates. Hard to say with them.

Unfortunately these Christmas dates to Malaga are still off sale. We have seen them remove dates in the past and bring them back a few months later (e.g April 2025) but I’m sceptical on this occasion.

It seems the January ALC route has been condensed again - now only flying 2nd, 4th, 7th

I do hope this is not the end of VY at CWL and merely a seasonal adjustment…

😒

Atm it looks like the route doesn't operate for winter past the 7th. So I guess now it's a case of if we'll see them return in April. Would be sad to see them leave.

The schedule was only ever until the end of January so maybe they’re going adjustments between January - March, they wouldn’t just leave as their loads have been pretty good currently

Unfortunately loads mean nothing by themselves. It's about the yield from those loads. And with the outside pressures affecting the industry right now, many airports are likely to see some route casualties/reductions. I am not saying this is the end for VY and CWL-ALC, just equally don't be surprised re any sort of cuts

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
LBA: B737-300 G-GDFK empty down to Paris at 16:15 to operate the return LS268 back to Leeds 20:00 ETA where it will then operate the delayed LS265 to Malaga 20:40ETD
LBA: Albastar B737-800 EC-MUB positioning in tommorow afternoon from Gatwick 15:45 to operate a charter to Lourdes/Tarbes on Friday afternoon 14:00 AP7721 STC
I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
