Discussions relating to Liverpool Airport
The first departure yesterday (5th Jan) was around 4pm the Ryanair to Lanzarote flight.
Does anyone know the reason(s) that it took until that time to actually open the runway?
I appreciate it was extremely cold with snow and ice, but it’s not like it wasn’t forecasted in advance.
I haven't seen it, but the airport made an announcement on social media a couple of days ago.
 
2 x Aer Lingus diverts this morning BHD and DUB to LBA, also I think a Jet2 FAO - LBA later around 1700
 
A few more LBA diverts in -:
Aer Lingus arrived from Dublin at 17.20, departed back at 18.15 EI HDK

JET2 From TFS landed 19.02. G DRTO

Low visibility has affected LBA all day.

B738 Jet2 G-DRTO is expected to position back to Leeds tomorrow about 08:45 as EXS073W
 
Wizz Airs service from Bucharest went tech upon arrival last night . Looks like 9H WNL is coming to collect passengers.
 
Im out of the country, but i understand there was a bit of disruption yesterday afternoon after a wheel collapsed on a light aircraft.

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
