Discussions relating to Liverpool Airport
It was showing due Liverpool, but Munich is not currently a Liverpool route, so i imagine something a drift the Manchester end.

Unless its a football flight, which EZY do operate, but im not aware of that.

The aircraft has subsequently gone to Belfast and Edinburgh, so maybe for operational reasons it came to Liverpool.

TWO diverts from Dublin have landed. One VIE - DUB , the other BHX - DUB
both landed around 14.30.

Our own DUB - LPL with FR, turned back.

The Jet2 Krakow service operates to Katowice today. I dont know why because the Ryanair service operated to Krakow normally.

This mornings Amsterdam service has been cancelled. Guessing issues in Amsterdam because everything else is going.

yes, AMS is still screwed today I am afraid.

EHAM (Amsterdam)
Arrivals regulated at a reduced rate due to adverse weather conditions; snow and de-icing.
The weather causes a significant outbound bottleneck, so inbound capacity is reduced to balance demand. Very high delays from 09:00 onward.
AOs are requested to limit or cancel flights by 50%, NOTAM A0015/26 refers.

Hurghada flight arrival also cancelled.

Looks like Easyjet has had much more disruption tonight. Ryanair only.has suffered delays with all flights operating.

Wizz Air Gdansk and Warsaw service this morning diverted into EMA

Some Easyjet cancelled flighrs including Geneva., Amsterdam, Belfast. Also Jet2 to Funchal.

Departures genrerally delayed to an hour from now

Flight departures seem to be slowly improving

The first departure yesterday (5th Jan) was around 4pm the Ryanair to Lanzarote flight.
Does anyone know the reason(s) that it took until that time to actually open the runway?
I appreciate it was extremely cold with snow and ice, but it’s not like it wasn’t forecasted in advance.

I believe the Funchal by Jet2 was a Jet2 wide delay of flights by 24 hours and nothing related to the airport its self. It did leave - today the 6th.

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
