Bristol: CAA Provisional Statistics Update

Use this prefix for new threads for Bristol Airport
Whilst I am awaiting a response from the CAA with data for Bristol's movements in September here is the rest of my monthly analysis.

As usual it is that time of the month for me to produce my usual statistical report. Any variation between the total monthly figures and those that I publish at https://forums4airports.com/threads/5728/page-3 (post #60) is purely due to differences in the CAA data in Tables 12.2 & 12.3

At this rate there's a risk of reaching 12 mil pax before getting planning permission for 15m
If you check the rolling 12 month average it’s only up about 100k to 10.7 million in the last year so growth has slowed. Next year could get close to 11 million with all the easyJet increases.

With the CAA data now being available, here is my take on October's statistics. Please remember that, for an unknown reason, there is always a difference between the total passenger figure in Table 9 and the separate figures from Tables 12.1, 12.2 and 12.3.

Bristol airports full year statistics are now available on their website. Full year is slightly down on their forecasted figure - particularly in November

1,767 less than the forecast is not far out. The November figure from the CAA is about 3,000 higher than the airport’s own. Will be interesting to see what Dec is.

I think we can conclude either way it’ll be short of 10.8 million for 2025. Should surpass that this year with the easyJet growth.

Will eat my words. 2025 did surpass 10.8 million due to the growth in December.

Nationwide statistics for December can be found here - https://forums4airports.com/threads/5728/page-4#post-319242.

Individual airport data will be posted as soon as possible.

I'm currently away with family, however I will produce my usual monthly report as soon as possible - although it may be the weekend before I have been able to do all the work necessary.

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
