Cardiff Airport reports busiest July in over a decade
Cardiff Airport is currently enjoying its busiest summer in more than ten years. In July alone, the Airport welcomed 208,322 customers – the busiest July since 2008.
Over the last 12 months the national airport for Wales has welcomed more than 1.648 million passengers. This continued, steady growth equates to an 8% increase for the rolling year*.

Cardiff Airport reaches 1.6 million passengers
The end of April 2019 marked an important milestone for Wales’ national airport in terms of passenger growth. Over the last 12 months, more than 1.6 million passengers have flown through Cardiff Airport, reflecting an increase of 7% versus 2018. This is the busiest year since 2009.
