I read this report too. I was going to post under 'aer lingus ' under airline listing's, but I cant find those anymore.

Aer Lingus W26/27 Update

It appears for a few weeks the TUE & WED flights will be suspended similar to the previous winter.

From 12th Jan - 10th Feb the route will become 5x weekly before back to daily operations as it currently stands.

Flights show as “Sold Out” when trying to book them!

This means Wednesdays during the winter will be down to 2 flights both being KLM & this EI flight when it operates. Sad times as last winter Wednesday was boosted by Ryanair.

Had an email recently with a flight schedule change on my flight to BHD.

The original 12:00 departure has changed to 09:00 - great for the business traveller wanting to get to Cardiff for the day, of course without the obvious way to return home other than an overnight stay.

Wonder if this is the start of a potential evening flight appearing to allow for such a day trip?

I saw a post about a load of cuts they've made to flights to Scotland. So they are either scaling back like other Airlines and moving schedules around, or they may be kind and give CWL an extra flight or two. One can hope!

Nope. It appears to be a general schedule change for Mondays. Fridays were always the morning rotation and it seems to have been introduced to other days too now 🍀

It appears now that Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday are all a 09.00 departure with Tuesday and Wednesday a 12.15 departure. Tuesdays and Wednesdays get suspended between 12/1/27 & 11/2/27.
