Flag carrier British Airways will relaunch routes between London Stansted and popular holiday sunspots in France, Spain, and Italy next summer.
Beginning May 18, 2024, weekend flights will be offered to three European destinations: Nice, Florence, and Ibiza.
Flights will be operated by British Airways subsidiary BA CityFlyer using Embraer 190 aircraft with Club Europe and Euro Traveller cabins.
Club Europe offers full meal service, drinks from the bar, priority boarding, and additional baggage allowances.

Ciaran Brannigan, London Stansted’s Commercial Director, said:
“I am delighted to welcome back British Airways to London Stansted and very much look forward to the launch of their scheduled flights from the airport in May next year.

“London Stansted serves more European destinations than any other UK airport and these new services to Ibiza, Florence and Nice are strong additions to our route network, which now covers over 190 destinations across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

“I’m sure these routes will be very popular with passengers from across London, Cambridge and the growing East of England region who are looking to head off on their holidays next summer.

“We look forward to working closely with British Airways to build a strong working relationship and ensure these new flights are success.”
This will be the first time that British Airways has offered scheduled flights from London Stansted since before the global pandemic, and it will become the fourth London airport to be served by the flag carrier.

Flights will be available from £41 each way to Florence, £36 each way to Ibiza and £43 each way to Nice. Flights can be booked at ba.com.
Listed below are the flight times:

• On Saturdays, BA7016 departs Stansted at 14:15 and arrives in Florence at 16:30

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
