Are you right as you are quoting 2025 and Pegasus have cancelled the MAN to AYT for 2026

sorry @Matt995 he's got you there and yes the Initial Summer 2025 ACL Slot report did include slots for AYT but they were subsequently returned... However!

...@Birmingham Aviation the cheapr market for tourist flocking from the UK to the Turkish resorts has started to collapse and supply far outstrips supply with flights these days. TUI has cut capacity of its own flights can handed the market to the likes of Sunexpress (50% owned by Turkish Airlines).

I think Pegasus has now seen the value in switching strategy from UK to Turkey tourists to UK to Middle East and South Asia budget conscious travellers transferring through SAW. I would rather them focus on feed capacity into SAW - similar to how Turkish has focused feed capacity into IST - than dilute it with secondary seasonal routes.

Good news...

Not only is Pegasus back to Daily as of this week following a dip during the Iran crisis, but now remains daily right up to March 2027... this is quite the big increase over Winter. im pretty sure they were 4x weekly over last winter with 5x weekly during peak christmas and half term?

Yes correct Nwoody.

Pegasus was 5 weekly last summer now Daily operations this winter

With Turkish decreasing to 12 weekly from 2 daily. Pegasus have gained 2 weekly flights from them so I guess is good.

19 weekly flights to the Turkish capital is very good

Won’t be long till we see Antalya Dalaman Bodrum introduced or AJet airlines😅

You need to catch up Ant. TK is operating 3x flights tomorrow...

Next week, TK is scheduled to operate 18x weekly and PC to operate 7x weekly... thats 25x flights to Istanbul next week!

Well there’s plenty of time yet for them to update/change schedules if demand recovers.

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
