The problem is that they didn’t seem to have that viewpoint of trying different routes. They seemed to go for routes already well served which made no sense. With regards to Newquay they chose to fly that route from Manchester which in my view was an overkill having 3 airlines doing the same domestic route. Late aircraft deliveries hindered expansion as they were cutting down on current routes as a result. With regards to LPL-Belfast I think easyJet serve Belfast well from there. I’m not sure you’d want them doing BHD when they cancelled the flights most days from LBA.They could have launched LPL-BHD, Belfast is a big market from Liverpool, but it was all to BFS. They didn't do it, and now Easyjet do both BHD and BFS, so they lost that possibility . They could also have returned to LPL-NQY, having said that they didn't even last long enough for the busy summer holiday period for Cornwall.
