It’s only to run the AMS on behalf of KLM, and I guarantee this is a bad sign for the longevity of the service. They’re doing the same at Humberside.

One thing is for sure, I hope they have some solid SLAs in place as it’s not unlike Eastern to suddenly decide to redeploy their aircraft on to last minute lucrative charters where they invariably go tech leaving a backlog of unhappy passengers funnelled on to other airports in the network.

On top of the well documented KLM debacle (affecting many airports not just MME) the other worst aircraft type to possibly be operating right now is ATR's. Especially with little to no slack in the fleet. I really do hope for their sake they can get this all sorted sooner rather than later
