Looks like Wizz Air have rescheduled some of there flights due LBA over next 48 hours. I'm guessing this is to avoid weather related issues.

It would appear the wizz airbuses love a bit of fog but cant hack the wind! Mistyfied by it all!

Must be one of their Top Gun pilots at the controls!
Everything has landed ok so clearly not a real issue, at least not yet. As the storm moves North and the wind direction beers to the West, then it may be more if an issue - so the inbounds after midnight may have a bit more trouble.

Interesting, been reported elsewhere that Wizz have cut BRS and EDI (some EDI routes moving to GLA) so I think we might have got off lucky with just Wroclow going. Hopefully Wizz might try something new and untapped from LBA.

Hopefully when our terminal is in its quieter hours though of course!

Hopefully, but it's hard to see anything new at a time when they are reducing ops by 10% due to the engine issues. Maybe later when hopefully things return to normal.

Slightly unusual, but all three if tonight's Wizz flights are being operated by A321NEO aircraft. The Cluj flight is running late so just as well. It's currently over Budapest.

Oh, forgot that there are four tonight. The other is an A320.

Wizz Air have started to put some of there LBA summer 2024 flights on sale.

Gdansk - 2x weekly Tue & Sat
Katowice - Not on sale yet
Krakow - 2x weekly Mon & Fri
Warsaw Chopin - 2x weekly Wed & Sun
Wroclaw - Not on sale
Bucharest - 2x weekly Mon & Fri
Cluj Napoca - 2x weekly Tue & Sat

I would expect this to change over time with more flights added.
I for one am disappointed with Wizz’ offering. If as stated the routes doing better then DSA then why such cuts. Hope more gets more added and Vilnius is also added.

I will say this again, but without being 100% in the know, despite the well documented engine issues, I believe Wizz are in a bigger general mess than they are letting on. That's all I will say on the matter

Im very disappointed too given all the positive comments about load factors. I had expected an increase in flights and at worst (taking engine issues into account) the same number of flights as this year.

I agree, i cant see wizz cutting routes and loosing a customer base simply because there having engine issues, it does not make sense, The pax will just go elsewhere.
Im hoping its early days with all the current routes adddd for next year plus a few new destinations inc vilnius.

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
LBA: B737-300 G-GDFK empty down to Paris at 16:15 to operate the return LS268 back to Leeds 20:00 ETA where it will then operate the delayed LS265 to Malaga 20:40ETD
LBA: Albastar B737-800 EC-MUB positioning in tommorow afternoon from Gatwick 15:45 to operate a charter to Lourdes/Tarbes on Friday afternoon 14:00 AP7721 STC
I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
