I love a Pork Pie! I seem to be one of the few people who also likes the jelly. Not if it's cold, but when it's properly warmed to room temperature it melts in the mouth and provides a slightly salty compliment to the meat and pastry.Pork pie salad for us today - making room for Christmas. Happy Christmas to you too.
Our local butcher does Game Pie for Christmas which is pretty much like a Pork Pie but with a richer variety of meat. I shan't bother this Christmas, as I'll be spending it alone.
