I don't think my change of itinerary helped. It seems that my luggage will arrive on the flight I was originally scheduled on the 19.00 arrival. To be fair to them they will deliver it to me rather than me having to go back to MAN.
They always delivered to our house when our luggage was mislaid but later turned up on those occasions at AMS I mentioned earlier. One of the instances involved half the CityHopper plane-load missing their luggage on arrival at BRS.

After 2 day's my bag has been found and will now be delivered to my home in Cardiff tomorrow. It turned out it went my original itinerary of PDX-LAX-AMS-MAN but a day late and then KLM couldn't trace it but now is in the hands of DPD. Only bummer about it is that I paid for checked luggage with Ryanair and Flybe.

Who's metal did you fly from PDX-LAX? If it was DL it should have been imminently trackable as DL are quite good at scanning bags at every step.

I didn't that was the problem! I was supposed to fly PDX-LAX on a Delta 717 but it was delayed by 45 minutes which meant I would've missed my connection so Delta put me on the direct PDX-AMS flight but not my luggage!

Ah that makes sense now. Still don't know why KL couldn't track your luggage, wonder if the IT connection between AF/KL and DL doesn't work as intended. Note: When flying VS to the states I have routinely used the DL app to track my luggage, even when I haven't made a connection onto DL. This usually works well.

I didn't realise you could do that. I'll have to remember for next time!

Air France - Paris CDG – Manchester 2 weekly

Air France will add a 4th daily flight for summer 2021. This will be a night stopper to compensate the loss of the early morning outbound Flybe had provided them.

On 8th September Airlineroute posted that Air France will increase the Manchester/Paris route from 21 to 24 per week for W20/21.

Airlineroute dated 22nd September shows the following tentative Winter programme for KLM

Amsterdam – Manchester Reduce from 35 to 27 weekly

A violent brawl erupted KLM on board KLM plane.

The incident occurred on Thursday May 5th, 2022 on board a KLM flight between Manchester and Amsterdam Schiphol.

I saw that video. Disgraceful behavior. Even the captain had to step in there. They should all face bans if they can’t behave for a 1hr flight.

I expect they'll get some sort of ban.

This is where government action is needed.

A database sharing the very worst that people do, shared between airlines, which can therefore then make their own decision on what to do with this brainless cretins. So if these idiots were to book with for example easyJet they'd be able to issue a letter saying you behave like you did on the KLM flight we to will issue you a ban for life. Or TUI may write to them issuing them with a ban for life based on their behaviours.

Personally I'd like the Home Office/DFT to be banning the three involved in punching that man, (though he may not be innocent although certainly appears so in the video) and removing their passports. This is the same for anyone that causes a divert due to their behaviour OR displays the worst behaviour that humans have to offer.

If that's extreme then a unilateral ban on them from ALL airlines departing UK/arrival into UK including the likes of KLM. A passport database that recognises their ban so that they cannot book/refund if they do try. Only way to get out of the country is by rail, sea or road.

I have little doubt that these morons had been drinking before departure. Its a constant complaint by air crew that the gate staff don`t challenge them and instead just get rid onto the aircraft. I can`t entirely blame the gate staff either, they are not Police nor trained to deal with them, nor sufficent in number. Opening alcohol outlets at silly O Clock in the morning is lunacy and needs to be stopped by legislation. The airports need burly security to back up the gate staff...yes I know more expense, not going to happen..There are many measures to stop it but all are going to cost..Hey Ho

Another point is rather concerning that the Captain jumped into a fight on board...That must be against SOP`s..What if he`d been incapacitated?..Bet he`s been invited for a `tea without biscuits` meeting at Head Office.
