Yes it did indeed presumably another change of plan, originally shown as departing to Brize on the movementsblog

Today currently showing a 763? operating to Espargos and just one 737H positioning out to Bristol, must be nightmare for the planners.
I can't help thinking of 'The Fast Show' sketch - 'Loose Change'.

The moving target that is the TUI merry-go-round now showing 788 G-TUIH positions in from Gatwick.

The DHL 757 another for STS.

When I went passed earlier there was a lot of outbound freight ready to go near the apron & to my eye they looked like tall pallets …. maybe for another 747 ?

Just noticed that N729CA, NCR871, from RZE is very high at FL430. I'm guessing it's coming to BHX empty. Also, N919CA, NCR873, from ATL is also quite high at FL410. Some years ago, I flew on Malaysian Airways B744 from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to LHR. The flight was full and for the first 4 or 5 hours, we were at FL280.

Times for the two 744s

Arrive 09.57 depart 11.00
Arrive 12.01 depart 14.35

Both departing to Shannon.

Also two 737s of TNT and Express Cargo due in today amongst other freight traffic-busy day.

We got the 2 National B744F on the ground together, although the earlier arrival was taxiing out. At one point they were behind each other on the parallel taxiway.

Indeed we did and here they are. Heavy hitters.

Pardon the question, however I have been on holiday for a couple of weeks. Who/what/why are the National flights operating?

Many thanks

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
