Diversions, Delays & Cancellations

All British Airways cityflyer flights before 14:00hrs on Tuesday, May 24th from London City to the Scotland, which includes service's to both Edinburgh, Glasgow are now Cancelled due to the Ash Cloud.
 
looking at the arrivals and departure boards for weeks now and things dont look good for city airport.
every week there is diversions nearly every day.
weather related,tech aircraft or airport shut due curfew.
the more i see this i think why did they put air strip where they did.southend is doing ok out of it as most diverts end up there.
makes any think why carry on with the divert problem daily.
 
There are reports of a "chemical incident" at London City airport causing passengers to be evacuated from the terminal building.
