And then maybe not,Is it a new route.a new airline.a record month,a new fire engine?

Hopefully you will enlighten us when whatever it is is announced and confirm this is what you were on about
or hopefully if nothing happens there will not be silence and you will tell us what you were referring to that

Loganair are looking at starting BHX- Scotland from W17/18, going head to head with FlyBe

would be good to see competition for FlyBe, but again is the Loganair brand strong enough to tempt passengers away from Flybe, presumably the flights will be on Saab 340 or 2000's? Arn't they slower than the DH8Q's and less comfortable for passengers?

I am presuming that people are not getting this excited about management appointments.

No, I'm in the dark also!
Back in the day when I visited BHX 3 or 4 times a week, I heard every rumour going. Now living in Cambridgeshire and visiting 4 or 5 times a year, my only source is from forums.
Initially, I took Ian's post -

to be a new route announcement or airline base. Thinking further, if so why was this not posted in the 'Route Development and Rumours' thread. Or in the 'Birmingham Airport Infrastructure and Developments' thread, if relating to airport planning and development.
I realise that Ian's post is a quote from Mr Kehoe, but other posts -

seem to indicate that its something that BHX fans will be very excited about.
I suppose I'll just have to wait and see.

This seems to be a common occurrence this year, our flight to Porto was delayed for around 30 minutes as, despite numerous requests, they were still waiting to be fuelled.

Glad you had a good time and some of the loads you saw look encouraging

Yes Richard there must be quite a few itching to know but if people have info I assume then its confidential but just like you I wish someone would spill the beans but then again you can't beat a good rumour.

Anything which is commercially sensitive should not be discussed on the forum, but if it happens it will be good news for BHX, not long to wait !

So, am i right in assuming that we are not now talking about a 'rumour'. Something is afoot and by all accounts those 'in the know' are most likely holding confidential information. If that is the case, then i will just have to sit back and wait for an announcement....
