The BBQ season is almost upon us!

He’s really coming on thanks, nearly five months old now. Can’t believe where the time is going!

I dusted off the BBQ this morning and we’ve enjoyed some homemade minted lamb burgers this evening, Mrs Thunderchild even rustled us up some cocktails. We’re definitely getting into the holiday mood here. Happy Easter folks!

....and i am in my house near Tavira in Portugal, barbecue primed but it is raining. And the forecast for tomorrow is not wonderful either with just 22 deg C and showers here but a sweltering 32 deg C in the north of Portugal. Where have i heard Sod's Law before...

Hmm, I’m not sure my waistline would cope with that....but Dad Bods are apparently in this year so you never know by the time I go on holiday I might actually be on trend for once!

They’re those funny looking buildings with running machines in them! I don’t know who I’m kidding, whenever I went “to the gym” I basically just sat in the sauna for an hour. We did go swimming the other day though and I managed to get a few lengths in while Mrs T entertained the little one so that was something.

Unhappy to report that a number of disposabe BBQs have been confiscated as people have been taking them to Dove Stone reservoir today despite the wildfires that occurred last year and the very dry conditions on the moors. Obviously these people have cotton wool for brains

Got an update to my post yesterday. Went to Dove Stone this afternoon and was told (at 1.30pm) that 30 disposable BBQs had been confiscated since Friday.
