Korean Air will launch 3 summer charter flights from Seoul to Glasgow in August, with more flights scheduled for 2017. These will be the first direct flights from Scotland to South Korea.

The flights will be operated by an A330, however it is unclear if the flights will be bookable for Scottish based passengers.

That is a major coup for Glasgow airport, even if it is only three flights initially.
