Varies day to day between 30 and around 40, but will steadily increase as the year progresses. 50 in a day will be a real milestone but still well short of where we were in 2019.

Aurigny will recommence its 2x weekly ATR72-600, Guernsey - Leeds/Bradford route from Saturday, May 21st running up until September 26th.

I see Aurigny have swapped days of operation of its Guernsey - Leeds/Bradford route. Up until last week flights were operating 2x weekly on Mondays & Saturdays. But the Monday service has now been swapped to a Wednesday service operating as following schedule until, Wednesday September 28th 2022.

Seen Aurigny have reported profits for the year, which is great news. I would like to see abit more from them personally, whether that be another rotation or longer season length. be good to have a year round service to the island. even if its x1 weekly. they seem to have a big ish operation form MAN.

im sure they used to operate at high frequencies in the past if anyone can recall?

I think they did more pre Covid although using an ATR42 then with lower capacity.

I'ld love to see Aurginy doing more flights to GCI from LBA. I'm sure they could expand the season by starting in April and finishing in late October along with additional flights at Christmas/New years & February Half term.

But if they are making profit doing what they do already with the limited resources they currently have, why change things!

I would imagine, like us, most people will go for a week. Two full flights per week are better than 3 flights with the same number of passengers. Better for the airline, they make a profit and keep operating.

I flew with them from EMA-GCI around 2011. That was the only time I have used them but the service was great. Although a lot could have changed in that time

I understood from something I heard years ago that due to the small size and capacity of the island, there are limits to what the island will allow.

Looks like LPL getting GR 3 times a week to GCI in 2024. Better frequency than LBA so yet further investment to an airport west of the Pennines. Frustrations continue!!
