I'm kind of hoping for 15 because then I can catch it landing from my bedroom window (I'll have to zoom in pretty much, and even then the quality will be a bit rubbish but I have a pair of binoculars which I can stick in front of the camera). But I can still catch it taking off if they use 33. The likes of Sheldon Country Park, back of TriStar hotel etc are bound to be packed tomorrow evening.

Will you be there tomorrow?

I'm planning to be there, it's quite easy for me to cycle to Sheldon country park so I'll be the one on the Ridgeback Hybrid if anyone wants to say hello.

AI 113 is on it's way - scheduled arrival time of 6pm at this moment in time.

It's now trackable on flightradar24. ;)

Just entering Ukraine.

I just had an idea - I will try and film the approach from my window using my digital camera (which has optical zoom), and if someone is there filming the landing, maybe we could combine the two videos?

Got a few pics of that also!

Also got this rather plane looking thing...

Fantastic pictures as usual, I'll get that Emirates one day.

Did you see what happened with the Aer Arran missed approach? Heard them asking for a runway check to see if there had been a tail scrape, I was off centre so couldn't see along the runway.

I saw the aborted landing (Air France did one as well as the Swiss 146 was in the way) - didn't notice anything. Looked quite a late abort as well.

I certainly need to get better filming material and chop down that tree in my garden if I want to get better footage, from my bedroom window and whenever I go visit Sheldon Country Park.

Seems there was a tail strike, an engineer was flown over with the aircraft ferried back today.

Best viewed in full screen.

Does it still continue on to MAN ray or will it be a CDG-BHX-CDG flight? Not au-fait with cargo.

From what I've heard it's due in BHX Friday morning and staying till Monday morning for staff training in case it ever needs to be subbed for the 757. A few months ago there was an A300 planned for the same reason but that never turned up so we'll see if this does.

FexEx MD11 N590PE arrived a little after 4.30am currently parked on the Elmdon Apron. At the moment it's due to stay until Monday pm.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
