I would suggest it borders upon being seditious, sadly a crime long since repealed in English law. I am certain the authorities in Turkmenistan would deal with such nonsense in a more robust manner!

Turkmenistan don't appear on the published list of several hundred countries with at least one confirmed case. So whatever they ARE doing to tackle it seems to be working perfectly.
Or are they just not checking or releasing figures....

Enjoy them whilst you can, B757 becoming increasingly rare as they are retired from passenger service. Great to see them return to BHX!

and of course December the 13th is a Sunday, not a Friday!!! Just wonder if they mean the 18th December, or it was originally planned to start on the 13th November, and some bright spark at Turkmenistan spotted it, and just changed November to December!! - However no flights appear to be bookable on the website 😒

isn't the B757 banned from operating in Europe still? Thought they could only fly the B737 & B777 ?

I'd love to see them back (they've been very loyal to BHX), but agree that they need connections to India, to make it work.

Yes as Ray said STN first then looking at BHX in July / August but only if ATQ is restarted.

that said, whilst great for spotters, upgrading to the 777 is fine but only if they can fill it... something they've been struggling to do over the last year or so... low load factors and annual drops of between 30-40% aren't sustainable.... unless a) the yields are amazing or b) they have great...

Turkmenistan should analyse the market and start flights to India, Pakistan and Bangladesh as well as Jeddah (I flew with my mum on Turkmenistan many years ago to Karachi from Birmingham International Airport - now please Turkmenistan management analyse the Asian market and Birmingham well thank you

Is an announcement imminent that they should be back very soon?

Don't know about imminent but the latest rumour I heard was around July. We'll see though as their return has been rumoured before but never happened.

July is what a friend of mine said from Turkmenistan however take this with s grain of salt
