Hi Folks,
Been off the radar for a while, as I've been extremely busy. But am back temporarily to seek some advice...
I have been given one of those 'opportunities of a lifetime' next June to go to Alaska. This is to present at a conference in Anchorage, so naturally I'm having difficulty containing my enormous excitement at the prospect of this fabulous trip.
Despite being the Alaskan state capital, Anchorage doesn't seem too easy to get to in under a very large amount of hours, or without 2 changes.
The best trip I can find using this year's timetables is from Frankfurt, which is direct with Condor, and there is a connecting flight from Manchester to Frankfurt with Condor. This seems OK, although it's a little more expensive than I have pre-budgeted for going on this year's prices.
But I just wondered if any of you seasoned travellers might have any other suggestions for getting to Anchorage, that won't take too long or too many plane changes.
Many thanks! :hatsoff:
