They have changed quite a lot of the flight timings as well for the summer for example Palma is now 06:05 instead of 12:35 and Dalaman is now 13:10 instead of 14:40.

I'm not the biggest fan of Wizzair if we are honest. I don't get this cutting programme, readjusting stuff etc etc. It's almost like they are deliberately pissing about with the programme to then pull out stating it isn't profitable.

They should stick to what they are good at.

The local press have picked up the story “family holiday ruined”. Even though it’s out of DSA’s control, at the end of the day it’s bad publicity for the award winning airport.

In my opinion I’d not be shocked if Wizzair pulled out of DSA all together.

Most airports with any sort of passenger service have experienced 'holiday ruined' stories in recent times because of the challenging staffing level situations currently obtaining, with Covid staff absences only adding to the problems. I suspect we shall hear of more in the coming days and weeks.

It's more a case of bad publicity for the industry as a whole as much as for individual airports.
I’m waiting for the day they go back to how they was at DSA!
In what way was that?

Covering Eastern Europe. Was a success story - since they’ve come to DSA they’ve tarnished any reputation they had with the base and pushing it back, cutting flights, changing them etc.
I see. I'm not well up on detailed DSA matters although I have a general idea of what goes on there. Many thanks for the explanation.

If DSA can't guarantee to honour a commercial agreement, are they in a bad way?

I wonder if it's because of the 2nd based aircraft getting put back? Depending on the deal it's possible that Wizz were due some sort of rate cut because of that and DSA may have refused because the extra passengers won't be happening.

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
