Use this prefix for new threads for Birmingham Airport
So if the metropolitan councils were the majority shareholder in Birmingham airport, but Ontario teachers pension plan currently have a minority shareholding. Where would the airport get it's funding and investment from.

Passengers, retail outlets, car parking, financial institutions (loans), shareholders etc.just like any other business in fact.

The airport has no single majority shareholder.

So if Ontario teachers pension plan holds 48.25 %, and they are a minority shareholder. If someone wanted to purchase that 48.25%, how much would it cost to purchase that percentage.

Not sure why this is on the Emirates thread but it all depends on the valuation of BHX at the time
The pension scheme says it's airports are worth £10bn which their share at £3.5bn, it has stakes in BHX, BRS, LCY, BRU & CPH (not sure what they own in each airport)

Combined value
The airports are estimated to be worth over £10 billion, while OTPP's share portfolio is valued at around £3.5 billion.

I went into the terminal today for the first time since November 2021. A lot seems to have changed - those escalators around the departure area aren't there anymore and it seems the whole upstairs are for passengers only.

Feels like an age ago that they had those spotted windows and the aviation experience.

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
