Interesting to say the least. I can't say that I'd fancy being pax on one of those :vomit:

This was taken on board the Qatar Dreamliner that went around. Things start getting interesting at around 12:30, I think one person may actually be vomiting. The clip includes the eventual landing in STN.

The comments below the video make an interesting read.

Some superb flying in the first video. It certainly looked interesting in the second clip although I think I could hear some laughter at times.

Amazing videos as others have said I wouldn't have fancied being a passenger on one of these flights and Mrs Daza is not good with flying at the best of times. :blackeye:

Great find, jyy1999. Brings back a lot of memories with most airlines shown now either ceasing to exist, in different liveries or using aircraft types no longer in regular use.

I noted Aero Lloyd, one of the airlines no longer in being. I flew on an Aero Lloyd A 321 from Salzburg to Bristol once although the one in the video seems to be a MD 80 series.

Inter European Airways was a Cardiff-based carrier owned by the Aspro Travel Group of that city (founders being the Asprou family). It operated mainly out of CWL and BRS although it did have a facility at Larnaca where crews and sometimes aircraft were switched. I once travelled BRS-LCA-BRS with IEA. Later in the 1990s it was bought by Airtours and merged into that airline so its modern day successor (via a roundabout route) is Thomas Cook Airlines.

Great video, it bought many happy memories flooding back (y)

Is it sad that I enjoyed seeing the old cars as much as the aircraft? :cautious:

Love the video from 1990 I may have been there on Friday evening! I noted the Air Malta 727 I think it was BHX based operating for a IT operator and BHX based TEA UK great memories.
Daza

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
