Anyone ever flown to warsaw modlin airport? was there last may, makes LBA look like a large int airport, no space for social distancing there esp in departures!

Never been there but if you thought that was cramped you ought to try Brescia (Milan in Ryanair speak). Now that was cramped and even Ryan have stopped using it so it must be bad.Anyone ever flown to warsaw modlin airport? was there last may, makes LBA look like a large int airport, no space for social distancing there esp in departures!
I know where your coming from there jetrob, like just stated me and a mate flew to warsaw last may, we were very disappointed by the city, obviously due to 90% of the city been bombed during ww2 its had an effect on the overall look of the place. It had two areas that I thought looked good, what they call the old town and the new part which is full of tall skyscrapers, a bit like bridgewater place and altus house in leeds but all together to give a good skyline. But the rest of the place is like concrete jungle with 5 floor graffiti apartment blocks everywhere and not so attractive buildings. I hear Krakow is the one to visit! With Ryanair hopefully starting up the route again, its the first small step into getting things going at Leeds again. I know they haven't announced directly where and when they are definitely starting again but surely a good start would be with Krakow?
My only reason behind this is because its (in my opinion) the best city in Poland and the most lucrative to Ryanair out of the other three (no disrespect to the other cities of course).
There are spare stands now.I hope there's a spare stand by then.
The stands look full because the Eastern apron, normally packed with Jet2 aircraft has only 2 aircraft on it. There are around 22 stands and perhaps 15 or 16 based Jet2 most of the time and nothing else.Ta. I haven't been airside since March and it's difficult to see what is parked where from the other side of the fence.
At the time LBA were still in negotiation with Ryanair and other airlines with regard to recommencing flights so the programme of flights and when they started was not finalised. As already stated too I have little doubt that there was some hard bargaining going on too.Does anyone have any info on what the little issue was with Ryanair back in may when no one was able to book flights?
Update: understand Ryanair will position in the LBA based Boeing 737-800 aircraft on Monday, June 29th ready to restart op's on Wednesday, July 1st
As far as I can see wearing a face covering is mandatory but like you I struggle to breathe with one on. Just bought 3 this morning doing my weekly shop but it remains to be seen whether I can keep one on for 20 minutes in M&S, let alone the duration of a flight. Just as well I have no current plans to fly anywhere. Will masks have to be worn still on flights/at the airport? I've got one but dont like it...could hardly breath...is there a good mask to use if you are planning to fly?
