Birmingham Airport - Picture Thread

.Didn`t stay long due to the cold and boredom!

However it does demonstrate how much the airport has come along if this portfolio taken on a late November
Sat morning is now considered boring

Wasn`t so much that the morning rush that was boring it was the 3 hours after 1pm with only Flybe and a couple of Ryanair that forced me home !

Another visit the following day Sat 17th December.Didn`t plan to go but after seeing a USAF C5 landing from my back garden a lift from my brother(a lapsed spotter!) a nice couple of hours on a cold Elmdon MSCP with loads of other spotters saw some nice London fog diverts.

The C17 and Tanker A330 were Brize Norton fog diverts and the Swiss E190 was a London City divert.Hope 2017 has as much variety as this year at BHX and a Happy New Year to all on the forum.Regards,Simon.

Fantastic pictures mate, some very happy memories

I flew to Tenerife on a Spanair MD-8? back in the 90's. I was dreading the flight beforehand but I couldn't have been more wrong, Spanair were great and the cabin crew excellent. It must have been a nightmare for those sat in the rear few rows, I walked down to use the toilet and it wasn't half noisy.
