Not sure it would be for the passengers who have paid for business class. The A330 is fitted with 2-2-2 narrow diamond seats. A tad uncomfortable and not all with direct aisle access. First world problems but as a paying passenger, you would prefer the Q Suite or at the very least the current dreamliner seat.

Precisely. Exactly why the A330 is unlikely to return to UK routes.

Can’t see Qatar increasing this summer.Would take a B77W to expand capacity and keep it daily unless we go 10 weekly with A330

....an odd statement i dont quite understand. Going 10x weekly with the existing 788 would be a significant increase in capacity!!!

Exactly a daily lunchtime and three weekly morning service with the 788 would give good onward connections and deliver a 40% plus capacity increase

Given the excellent load factors Qatar are getting 90% - 95% some sort of increase must be a possibility subject to aircraft and crew availability and naturaly yield

Probably not the case, at max, 787-9s should be appearing if necessary

Qatar will continue using the B787-8 Dreamliner daily this winter.

Qatar are planning a one off A350-900XWB service on Monday December 2nd as follows:-

QR33 DOH-BHX 01:40-06:15, QR34 BHX-DOH 07:45-17:30

Slots filed doesn`t mean a service is happening and some airlines file them for years as per Thai at Manchester 30 years and never used

Qatar airways have released a press statement saying it will increase Amsterdam to 11 weekly and Heathrow 56 weekly(8 daily)

No mention of increase for bhx
