Thanks for the info on M-ERCI a300boy. I saw it go off at 17:21 as I was walking down to Mozzers.

I know this may sound like a daft question but have some LBA movements posts from last week been deleted?? I and several other members on here posted quite a few messages between Wednesday and Friday regarding the Tour de France inbound charters and bizjet movements, but for some unknown reason they seemed to have all disappeared today by looks off things.

Anyway here's a few more for this afternoon.

Air France Hop Embrear 145, F-GVHD positioned in earlier this afternoon as A58370 from Lyon. It is due out operate out to Paris Cdg as A59601 shortly along with the night stopping Denim Air Fokker 100, PH-MJP as DNM3622.
Meanwhile the Enhance Areo Group Embrear 145, F-HELA which arrived in from Perpignan yesterday with the Catalan Dragons and has been parked over at Multiflight will also depart out later this evening at around 21:45.

It looks like the Italian Student charters start tomorrow as we have a Mistral Air Boeing 737 operating an inbound charter from Rome Fiumicino at lunch time

7M1815 - ETA 12:00 / 7M1816 - ETD 12:50 = From/to Rome

I think we have had 3 or even 4 Ryanair Dublin flights today ! the early morning in and out was B737-400 OM-CEX and B737-400 OM-AEX has just landed both of Air Explore.

Two Biz-Jets departed this evening.
G-SOVB Learjet 45 [ Sovereign Air Ltd ] at 1840.
LN-SSS Citation 680 [ Jetfly K/S. ] at 1920.

I saw them flying in formation back to LBA a couple of hours ago so they must have been calling back to refuel before heading South.

I noticed same LBA spotter. Couldn't access half the site regarding latest posts.

Did I see the lanc and spitfire this morning up at LBA?

I'm off to RIAT this wknd... Here's hoping 'Dave' makes it across the pond!!

Scousefolwer, I live near the airport and although I couldn't see either the Red Arrows yesterday or the Lancaster/Spitfire today, I heard both and there is no doubt that the Lancaster/Spitfire headed West after passing over York Minster and then passed over LBA. No mistaking the sound of 5 Merlin Engines!

The Spitfire and Lancaster did come over around lunchtime on Sunday. Also on Sunday evening we had a Beech C90 go out which used to be G-MOSJ but is now flying as 9H-MOS.

Looks like FR24 is wrong as it is just dropping below 12,000ft as we speak over Hatfield, so it does look as if it inbound here.

We appear to have two inbounds with the flight code ZT tomorrow, both from Lourdes/Tarbes, so presumably related to our annual Catholic pilgrimage. Anyone know what airline and aircraft types these will be? Thanks in anticipation

Thanks LBAspotter. The airport arrivals have been updated now and in fact the flight is shown as originating in from Stansted and out to Lourdes/Tarbes. Another apparently error is that we appear to have 3 flights to Bourgas tomorrow at the moment - all with different flight numbers - some direct and some via Belfast. I think not somehow!

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
