Just a heads up for those of you that are interested the Canadian A310 is due again on Thursday or Friday this week. Not too sure when it's due to depart though.

Well lets hope that being Canadian, they are used to landing on snowy runways and that the weather actually enables them to get into LBA.

Catalan Dragons RLFC currently has the following charter flights on sale from Perpignan to Leeds/Bradford using 50 seat aircraft. Over the past few years they tended have used Enhance Aero Groups, Embraer 145’s but noticed last week they were using an HOP (Air France) Embraer 170.

April 4th = Wakefield Wildcats
April 12th = Huddersfield Giants
May 3rd = Castleford Tigers
July 26th = Leeds Rhinos

Meanwhile Leeds Rhinos play there away game against Catalan Dragons on March 28th. If I remember correctly they tend to charter a Jet2.com Boeing 737-300 for the day.

Is that an increase or decrease in Festive Season Lapland movements from this year then ?

I think its possibly an increase on last years xmas Lapland flights.

It will be interesting to see how many Northern Lights breaks Transun offer (between Jan - Apr 2016) with flights into Kiruna next year? Think we only had 2 planned this year.

It would seem as if RAF Yeadon has been re-activated today.

2x AAC Apache Attack Helicopters, ZJ190 & ZJ195 both using callsign "VIPER" landed on the Multiflight East apron earlier this lunchtime. That was shortly followed by an RAF Chinook HC-3, ZH901 callsign "GAMBIT" which did a missed approach.
About half hour later 2x Linton on Ouse based RAF Shorts Tucano T1's did missed approaches ZF339 used callsign "LOP52" & ZF378 as "LOP35"

Jet2 Boeing 737-300-QC, G-CELO looks to have gone tech or picked up some kind of problem earlier after operating the EXS4FL service from LBA to AMS. Good news is that LBA based Boeing 737-300-WL, G-GDFM was dispatched out empty as EXS42A to pick up the stranded pax and operate the EXS206 back to LBA. Even better news is it also now looks like the tech aircraft is now also returning back to LBA as she departed AMS about 23:00 as EXS45A.

On another note it looks like there latest Boeing 737-800-WL, G-JZHA has been on a engineering flight already this evening. I know she positioned out to AMS on Tuesday morning as EXS31E. But she departed out of AMS about 22:30 as EXS51B. After doing the normal stranded departure routing she climbed up to 31,000ft into the cruise and then seemed to start doing some circuits over the North Sea around the Norfolk coastline area before making a rapid descent heading inbound towards Norwich. After one pass at Norwich it then flew at 10,000ft all the way from up to LBA.

Had G-JZHA managed to pick up a problem already? As its only been in service 2 weeks.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
