Position Description
SSP are very proud to announce the new opening of our popular brand 'Caffe Ritazza' at Leeds Bradford Airport in 2009.
We are therefore recruiting now for an experienced Unit Manager who can use their skills and experience in this high profile role, get involved in the pre-opening activities and make it a successful, profitable unit.
As a Unit Manager within SSP, you will have full accountability and great autonomy in your role. Responsible for the quality of service from your team, maintenance of high brand standards, as well as achieving financial performance targets, you will also ensure good health & safety and hygiene practices are followed. This will be a 24 hour site in summer, so flexibility is required for working shifts accordingly.
Required Experience
This is a customer facing role requiring excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for great coffee and a customer focused approach. With your experience in high quality coffee retail (or similar business), you'll be able to demonstrate experience of successfully inspiring, motivating and leading your team to deliver financial, service and operational results, whilst having the ability to think on your feet and make decisions in a fast paced environment. You will need experience of driving sales, effective stock control and Profit and Loss management as well as good communication and people development skills to build a strong team.
