There are one or two posts in the BRS forum that suggest the prices for Jet2 flights and holidays that have recently been put on sale at BRS are noticeably higher than those of easyJet. MAN has a significant Jet2 and easyJet presence. Are Jet2 prices generally higher than easyJet at MAN?

Also consider MAN not the only NW airport, people would also check fares with Easyjet from LPL

In general, seat-only fares are higher on carriers which sell most of their capacity as part of a package holiday. This is true of TUI Airways, and also seems to be a factor in the pricing of seats on Jet2 leisure routes. EasyJet does have a recently-relaunched holiday division, but it is not yet a mature programme and represents a very modest proportion of seat capacity on the airline at this stage.

Jet2 are returning to Lyon this winter looking to be 2x weekly on Mondays and Fridays. Flights not yet on Jet2s website.

Oops seems I read it wrong. There will be flights on Mondays and Saturdays with flights also being added on sundays. (Ignore Fridays)

It’s unclear at the moment. But Jet2 might use the A330 again from Next summer. One flight to Palma from Manchester on 5th July 2022 comes up with an A330-200 seat map. Of course this is subject to change and might change to a smaller aircraft.

It’s showing on the 0630 Palma all summer, as well as Faro, Tenerife and Dalaman amongst others. There appear to be 2 based.

Just out of curiosity I looked at next year for some busy routes out of Manchester. It appears Jet2 are clearly on the rebound and ready for the market to go boom which it inevitably will. They are also replacing the TC capacity left.

> Balearic Islands - Palma - 26 Weekly flights. A330 on this route.
> Canary Islands - Tenerife - 16 Weekly flights. A330 on this route.
> Turkey - Antalya - 17 Weekly flights.
> Turkey - Dalaman - 16 Weekly flights. A330 on this route.

Jet2 have been messing with the schedule:

Manchester- Toulouse has been taken off sale
Manchester-Lisbon has been taken off sale also.
Manchester-Tivat has been postponed to 2023.

Damn! We haven’t had TLS served since Flybe went! I hope they reinstate or someone else steps in

The biggest negative in the route cuts/suspensions is Toulouse.

lisbon had 4 carriers with about 31 weekly flights which was unsustainable in the long run. Someone had to blink first and clearly it was Jet2.

Tivat is served by Easyjet as well as being easily accessible from Dubrovnik, so another year to wait on that route isn’t the end of the world.

Toulouse however seems to have been in high demand from many comments around social media and the likes, therefore a shame it won’t launch.

It seems astonishing that easyJet doesn't operate Toulouse.

They did try LPL-TLS one winter, but it never really set the heather alight so maybe stung them from refraining a MAN flight. Easyjet only serve MAN-LYS 1 weekly in the winter which is a shame as both LYS and TLS are great year round cities so it’s strange to see them struggle so much.

The 'like' is for the information not because easyJet's don't serve TLS. :) Many thanks.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
