Presumably a glitch in the app but there are no Ryanair routes on sale from the 2nd to 30th November. Normal schedule seem to resume on the 1st Dec. Any ideas?
From something I read online, the Turkish beach destinations have become less attractive due to the costs becoming much closer to Greek or similar alternatives so airlines have been trimming some Turkish capacity as demand is going elsewhere. Istanbul is a funny one as easyJet stopped it at the...
Presumably this will fit in as a 3rd rotation on one aircraft in the middle of the day although I can’t see any obvious gaps rather than signalling a 9th based and more increases to come?
Edit: didn’t look hard enough. Reus Mon & Fri AM next year so fits in after that.
Does anybody know when the 3rd A321 arrives?
Bizarrely looks like it drops from 19 to 17 based overnight as 2 A320s are positioning to LGW later and I’ve just counted 17 based deps tomorrow morning and 17 Sunday evening arrivals on FR24.
Although a long way off next winter, there are several changes on some of the newer routes or routes that were continued through this winter according to the EZY app.
Almeria not on sale after 19th Sep
Antalya not on sale for next winter (was 2 weekly this winter)
Bilbao 1 weekly Nov & Dec
Lyon...
1,767 less than the forecast is not far out. The November figure from the CAA is about 3,000 higher than the airport’s own. Will be interesting to see what Dec is.
I think we can conclude either way it’ll be short of 10.8 million for 2025. Should surpass that this year with the easyJet growth.
If you check the rolling 12 month average it’s only up about 100k to 10.7 million in the last year so growth has slowed. Next year could get close to 11 million with all the easyJet increases.
I do think the Exeter KLM route might be impacting the figures slightly as that is carrying 4k plus pax a month and BRS-AMS have been down pretty much every month since the Exeter route started.
Istanbul doesn’t feel like much of a package destination. We used the flight earlier in the year and a few that we spoke to were doing a weekend break like we did as it was new destination on the BRS EZY network and offered a fairly unique destination and the return was well priced. Someone sat...
The August figures for Istanbul were:
IST (EZY) 3,035 approx load 168 per flight (LF 90%)
SAW (Pegasus) 3,567 approx load per flight 137 (LF varied due to different aircraft size)
