Exactly.Apparently it’s a VIP with the Villa owner on board.

Hope to get some clarity soon
Rumours abound that the 2026/7 Aston Villa front shirt sponsor will be Egypt Air. Obviously, connections could then be made with potential for a new route from said airline. However, to make you smile, a similar rumour exists for a similar connection to Rwanda tourism! Now this could be a dilemma for BHX spotters - RwandAir or Egypt Air . Both airlines vie for being one the World’s shittiest service airlines.

Thank you - but I’m not sure what I did wrong? I saw SeanM’s tweet and started a new thread with the news as is the norm.

For the record I don’t see everyone’s posts anymore.

Hi there Ian, didn't I mention in my previous post, that Cairo flights to Birmingham airport was a must. Looks like one of my wishlist came true, when I posted my list of unserved routes that Birmingham Airport could potentially get, I was informed by another member, had I been drinking at all, no I hadn't,ci was just looking at what flight destinations Heathrow had to Birmingham airport, that's where I compiled my list from

Egypt Air is great and I think Royal Air Maroc will be next and at some point Royal Jordanian but Heathrow / London is completly different market so you cannot compare. Better off monitoring Manchester and hope in time Birmingham will get a few more of the airlines they have.
