Cardiff: Vueling Flights, New Routes & Schedule Updates

This looks to be the case. They have released them earlier than last year so there might be more to come.

Fingers crossed we'll see them load the whole winter.

Vueling has added two extra flights to Alicante on 18th and 25th February 26, for the half term holidays.

I’d imagine they’ll load some for the Feb half term, but that’ll be it for winter (including Christmas). Who knows with Vueling!

It looks to be based on them not having any summer 26 routes on sale - yet. They’ve been tweaking their winter offering up until a few weeks ago, so I’d expect Alicante to be on sale soon. I’d also expect to see Malaga back, but probably not until November.

S26 is on sale but not from CWL or BHX

Malaga is always a late release for CWL, and given they have upped it to 5 weekly this summer I'd be surprised if they pulled out. Vuelings scheduling department aren't known for consistency in releasing schedules in one go.

Vueling have dropped the Monday for Alicante in January meaning 2 weekly flights from 3. The 6th of Jan is still on sale.

So my crystal ball says we’re not getting anymore AGP from VY for winter, so my plans revert back to ALC - on the plus side, given the new Wednesday morning departures mid-February and returning with FR on Sunday, they are absolutely perfect times for a short Benidorm break 🙌 count me in Captain!

I’m becoming more worried as each day goes by that this may well be the case. There’s nothing on sale for S26 as yet, and they normally have at least up until June on sale by now…although if you were going to quietly leave an airport you’d do so before adding more winter flights wouldn’t you? Or maybe not.

I am a massive fan of VY and they have been loyal to CWL for many years - so I pray that FR haven’t shoved them out the door.

Their Barcelona route from BHX and EDI don’t have summer listings yet either. It’s only Gatwick where they seem to have their act together - that’s probably because they have a base there.
